Death Valley was a challenge to photograph at first. It is a very stark landscape and it is all about light and line and shape. However, once I realized that and spent time in the park, I got a feel for the place. It’s been many years since I have visited Death Valley and I would probably approach it differently now, given how my photography has evolved. Sounds like a good reason for a return visit.
