We visited Al and Julia, our neighbors and close friends of 23 years, in their new “homeland” of Maine. We spent a fantastic weekend in their house overlooking Cundy’s Harbor. Even though it was cold, the afternoon light was incredible and you could sit and stare at this scene all day from the warmth of the home. This is a working lobster boat harbor and we could watch them unload at the dock down below the house. Of course, we also had two of the freshest lobster dinners ever, cooked by the best chef we know! It was a memorable weekend… too short… and we miss our friends - but we will visit them often!
